Singer songwriter Megan Nash combines an honest insight into a young woman’s old soul with a powerful, moving voice. Raised in rural Saskatchewan, her lyrics carry a prairie imagery and her vocals have the character of a familiar gravel road.
Two Bears North
Sophie Heppell and Melissa Walker spent the last six years perfecting the formula that became the Edmonton based band Two Bears North. Heppell's melodic sense, Walker's incomparable groove and the addition of Nich Davies on drums have made the band unstoppable. Winner of People's Choice at the 2014 Edmonton Music Awards, their nine song debut album Comeocean, released December 2013, received an additional five EMA nominations including Album of the Year and was named the top Edmonton album of 2013 by Gigcity.ca.
