Northern Saskatchewan’s In With The Old seamlessly combine raw talent and prairie comraderie with a passion and respect for the music from the past. Young and dedicated, they take a unique approach to memorable old-tyme music through gifted harmonies and infectious songwriting all told through a small town perspective.
Each member plays their own main instrument but often they will trade off and play each others’ instruments for a different dynamic. They are highly influenced by great traditional bluegrass and old-time artists like Bill Monroe and The Stanley Brothers, but also by many modern bands, ranging in style from rock to folk to indie pop. At their live show, expect fiery-hot banjo and mandolin licks, thoughtful songwriting, beautiful 3-part harmonies and one heck of a great time!
