The 2014 Mayor's Celebration of the Arts held on June 19 at Vic Juba Community Theatre in conjunction with the Arts Without Borders Festival.
A
"Quick Draw" event was held at the Mayor's Reception prior to the
performances in the Theatre. Seven visual artists had one hour to
create original artwork. The artwork was available for purchase
through a Silent Auction process. All funds went towards an Arts
Bursary. A jazz ensemble from Holy Rosary High School performed throughout the Mayor's Reception.

After the Quick Draw, the crowd moved into the
Theatre where there was Arts Award presentations as well as
performances by local talent in music and dance. Marc Quinn was Master of Ceremonies.
