Dora Bunner: same age as Mrs. Blacklock, forgetful
Patrick Simmons: Julia’s brother, late twenties
Mitzi: mid-twenties, Russian, explosive, paranoid
Miss Marple: older, independent, self-sufficient, curious, witty, warm hearted, eccentric
Mrs. Swettenham: mid-fifties
Edmund Swettenham: mid-twenties, foreign looking English man, short tempered, possessive, militant
Rudi Scherz: European
Inspector Craddock: mature English gentleman
Sergeant Mellors: helpful assistant
