revenge of the trees
When
singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Mikey Muscat first arrived in
Edmonton in 2010, from Toronto, he had no friends, no money and no
band. Now he has almost all of those!
Combining aspects of rock, soul, dirty blues and danceable prog with politically conscious lyrics, Revenge of the Trees is a beautiful swamp water of heart and soul. In the past year Revenge of the Trees has shared the stage with such acts as Rah Rah, Paper Lions and Greg MacPherson. With their first EP, released December 2013, Revenge of the Trees are continuing their steady growth through the top soils of Canada’s music scene and beyond.

Vendors Needed
Preparations are underway for the fourth annual Inspiring Women Conference on February 3
at the Stockade Convention Center. Last year they had a few local
artists featured and sell their work at the conference and this year they would like
to grow this area into something more substantial in an effort to
highlight the talented people in our area.
Each artisan booth at the Inspiring Women Conference will include an 8 ft table in a 10x10ft space for displaying product and information. An area behind this space will be made available for any vertical displays or seating for the vendor. Extra space requests will be considered when requested before January 20, 2015.
The booth space at the Inspiring Women Conference will be in the main area of the conference, around the periphery of the Stockade Convention Center. This allows participants to have access to the display throughout the day, but most especially during registration, coffee breaks and lunch.
Display booths may be set up in the late afternoon/early evening of February 2, 2015 or on the morning of the conference.
The fee for your artisan booth is $100.00. This includes lunch and one ticket to the conference. Artists are welcome to share a table to save costs. Additional tickets to the conference are $85.00. Cheques are to be made payable to KT and Company and are due on or before February 1, 2015.
If you need any information or if you wish to register, please email Terra Weaver at r.weaver@mcsnet.ca or call or text her at 780-808-1397.
