Culture Days

Saturday, September 28

Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre (formerly BCHCC)
Celebrating the Past...Looking to the Future

Celebrate our history, heritage and culture with the Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre and Barr Colony Heritage Society.

Celebrating the past 110 years and looking forward to the future of Lloydminster. The day will incorporate the themes that are represented by Lloydminster’s four border markers: Agriculture, Oil and Gas, the Barr Colonists and First Nations & Métis.

Local artists will represent the growing artist community with a demonstration of their talents. Live music will be available throughout the day and a local artist will teach a workshop for families. The Lloydminster Farmer’s Market will join a variety of food vendors. The day will start with a community breakfast, in collaboration with Barr Colony Heritage Society, who are also providing demonstrations and tractor displays.

They are also in need of volunteers. Call them at 306-825-5655 or email sberry@lloydminster.ca if you are interested in helping out.
